Recognising Academic Excellence at Warrigal Road
At Warrigal Road State School, we are proud to celebrate and recognise academic excellence every semester through our Academic Awards Program. Introduced in 2021, this program acknowledges students in Years 4 to 6 who demonstrate exceptional achievement across all Key Learning Areas, with awards based on end-of-semester report card results.
There are three levels of academic recognition:
Outstanding Academic Achiever – awarded to students who achieve 100% A grades with exemplary effort.
Academic Honours – awarded to those with 75% A grades and the remainder B grades, all with very good effort.
Academic Excellence – for students who receive A grades in English, Maths, and Science, with no grade below a C and very good effort.
Since its introduction, the number of students earning these prestigious awards has steadily grown. We’ve raised the bar – and our students continue to meet the challenge with determination and pride.
This growth is a testament to our school’s commitment to high expectations, outstanding teaching, and a learning environment where excellence is encouraged and celebrated.
