CPU - Intel i3 4th Generation and/or AMD A8-7050 or higher
RAM - 8GB or higher
Hard drive Space - 128GB or higher
Wireless - 802.11ac or higher
Battery - 6 hours or higher
Screen - 10" or higher
Features - 2 x USB ports, Head phone port, microphone port, webcam (desirable)
Other Considerations
When purchasing a device for the years 4-6 BYOD program. Please do not acquire any iPads, Chromebooks or budget devices and follow the minimum specifications above to avoid any future issues. Whilst Mac devices can work it is strongly preferred that these devices are not used at school as issues can arise.
Please ensure that you student is equipped with an appropirate carry bag and or/any extra protective equipment when bringing the device to school. Such as screen protectors for devices such as Windows Tablets.
