“The more that you
read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places
you'll go.”
― Dr.

The Warrigal Road State School Library encourages lifelong learning in
students by promoting a love of books from an early age. As a result, the Library is always a bustling
hub of activity. Each day, students from
all year levels seek out new friends, adventures and knowledge within the pages
of our books.
A ‘Readers’ Club’ is conducted to encourage students to be actively
borrowing and reading books. When a
child borrows a book, a stamp is given on their ‘Readers’ Club’ card (one per
day). Once students have earned 10
stamps, they are entitled to a prize from the prize box as a way of
congratulations and celebration. Each
student then works through levels of achievement as they read more books. Certificates and special book prizes are then
allocated as they progress.
